We are the organizing body for a new sport which examines the skills of accuracy and distance control in putting played on a lawn bowls green.
This sport is called GolfBowls and we can help to introduce the game to a bowls club near you. We can facilitate corporate events and open day events to make GolfBowls available to anyone. Our main game and events are based on one player using one golf ball to dislodge a numbered ball which is sitting atop a disc. The player counts how many strokes it takes to dislodge the ball and records the total over either 10 or 15 holes. All the holes played during a GolfBowls event are played to a standardized length and order regardless of venue.
We have upcoming events in Queensland on the Gold Coast and in Victoria on the Mornington Peninsula. Other events are scheduled for late 2020 and will be a lead up to the Australian Chanpionships to be held on the Gold Coast in December. The Australian titles will include a prizemoney purse which will be distributed among the top 25% of the field.
It's an interesting game, it's certainly not Putt Putt! The challenge is that greens out on the golf course are not flat so there is no perspective. For beginners this is outstanding.

We will be holding a Golf and Bowls competition from 5.30pm at Club Robina on the Gold Coast on Wednesday 14th November. This event is open to anyone and is played in pairs in a round robin format. This event will be a hybrid of Golf and Bowls where players will partner up against opposition and score points firstly by putting golf balls to the jack then rolling lawn bowls. This takes a lot of skill and is great fun so bring your favorite putter along.
The GolfBowls SpringCup will be held on Sunday 6thSeptember at Club Robina, Ron Penhaligan Way, Robina from 2.00pm.
Entry fee is $15.00 per player with a minimum prize purse of $250.00 available to the leading four teams. There will also be other prizes available and lunch can be taken at the club prior to the start of competition.
For anyone who hasn't played before come along early and get some practice in from 12.00pm.
Anyone interested in playing can email us at email@example.com
GolfBowls was recently launched in Victoria at a the Rosebud Golf and Country Club, a prominent venue on the Mornington Peninsula. We held an event in late November for invited guests from the local golf and bowls communities as well as interested parties in the health and well being industry.
